Overview

Jetsetter ("the app") is a travel tracking application. This policy explains what data we collect, how it is used, and your rights.

Data We Collect

Account data: When you create an account, we collect your email address. This is used solely for authentication via Google Firebase.

Trip data: Countries, dates, and notes you log are stored in Firebase Firestore and associated with your account.

Profile data: Your display name and optional bio are stored in Firebase Firestore. Your profile photo is stored locally on your device only and is never uploaded.

Friend data: If you add friends, their display names and country counts are visible to you, and yours to them.

How We Use Your Data

All data is used exclusively to provide app functionality. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

Third-Party Services

The app uses Google Firebase (Authentication and Firestore) for account management and data storage. Firebase's privacy policy is available at firebase.google.com/support/privacy.

Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account and all associated data by contacting us.

Children

This app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
